The collection contains Streightoff's correspondence and papers dealing with his career as an educator and a social activist, 1915-1931. There is correspondence concerning his search for a higher salaried position as well as letters stemming from his position as secretary of the Literature and Peace Committee of the Western Yearly Meeting of Friends, 1924-1931. The collection also contains the personal and organizational materials of Frances Doan Streightoff including materials pertaining to her work with the League of Women Voters. Also included are several printed publications regarding Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
